Man. I actually have an inkling of hate at Joe Torre right now. No Tino? Sierra batting 4th? Man, my friend Tonya is NOT going to be happy...
If I were feeling bitchy, I'd hope it comes back to bite Joe in the ass, but this is the Red Sux, so I have to put my annoyance aside I guess. Still. Not cool.
OK just saw the reason -- Sierra apparently tears up Wells when he faces him and Tino not so much. But Joe's known Wells was the starter for how long now? It just sucks to me because both NY tabs had big stories about how TIno was going to be the Opening Day starting first baseman and Giambi was DH'ing. I know the priority is to just win the damn game, but that's kind of a mindfuck in a small way. Sigh.
