Jeter Love From Enemy Territory
I stole this article from Shannon. It's hard to believe there is this much Jeter love coming from a Boston Newspaper. I guess even some folks in Beantown have it right.
An excerpt:
(From The Boston Herald)
The best player in baseball never has led his league in home runs or RBI, stolen bases or batting average. But he does everything well - especially win - and he does it here, in New York, the grandest stage in all of professional sports.
If there is a better baseball player in the world than Derek Jeter, let him come forth.

Another quote from the Boston Herald article (which seems somewhat prophetic):
"The New York Yankees [stats, schedule] have undergone some significant personnel changes in recent years, but remember this above all else: Jeter is still to be feared most."
BTW, are we going with the blogger comments or the haloscan comments?
Either way is good with me.
Later.
I don't really know if there's a preference. I added both to htis blog because of all the trouble blogger comments have. This way we aren't restricted.
I like the blogger comments because of the great layout and pics. They just don't always work.
